Numerous inquiries with the Virginia Department of Transportation regarding the cameras operated by the VDOT Smart Center revealed that the highway cameras on Washington Blvd in front of the Pentagon were not recording on 9/11.
Security cameras on the exterior of the building on Columbia Pike were not installed until after 9/11 and VDOT provided the invoices below as evidence of the installation.
